Our factory laboratory conducts all routine tests to national/international standards. Type tests are performed at accredited facilities as required.
  • Insulation resistance
  • Winding resistance
  • Turns ratio (TTR)
  • Polarity & phase relationship
  • No‑load losses and excitation current
  • Impedance voltage and load losses
  • Insulating oil tests
  • Dielectric tests (applied & induced voltage)
  • Tank leakage test
  • Impulse voltage test
  • Temperature rise test
  • Short‑circuit withstand (dynamic & thermal) at recognized government laboratories (e.g., CPRI)

Precision digital meters and power analyzers are used for measurement of losses, currents and impedances to verify design performance.

Transformers are warranted against defects in design, materials and workmanship under normal operating conditions. Standard warranty: 12 months from date of delivery (exclusions: porcelain bushings, breather and other listed accessories). See supply terms for full details.
